My Favorite Lifestyle Shows
Back in the day, it was all so easy. When I wanted to feed my love of decorating and was tired of magazines, I'd just flip on TLC's Trading Spaces. Nowadays, when I want to plant myself in front of the tube and soak up some decorating or cooking or lifestyle ideas, my choices seem endless.
Difficult as it was, I did manage to come up with this list of my Top Five (of the moment) Lifestyle Programs for you, just in case you were wondering. So here they are, in no particular order:
- What Not To Wear--The show that has inspired millions of American women to dress better.
- Decorating Cents--Room makeovers for just $500 a piece. Features tons of great ideas you can actually do all by yourself.
- 30-Minute Meals--It's almost impossible not to love Rachel Ray isn't it? This show helps busy women everywhere put together great dinners in just a half hour.
- House Hunters--I'm not sure why I'm so hooked on this show, but there's something very cool about watching a family (or couple, or single person) search for the perfect home, and by the end of the show, they always find it.
- Nigella Feasts--Nigella Lawson is one of my heroes. I love her style, her recipes, her wit--she's absolutely fabulous in everyway. Watch her show and you'll see why.
