I've almost taking a felting class several times in the past, but never got around to it. I love the look of felted bags and scarves, but thought I probably couldn't figure out how to make them on my own. But today I found this article that changed my mind. Country Living's Make a Felted Tote Bag makes it look and sound easy to create a really cute bag. So I'm giving it a try, and I'll let you know how it goes.

I've been planning on making a felted bag for a while but it was one of those things that seemed doomed to be eternally stuck on my to do list. Maybe now it might make it onto the done list!
I was going to get an old brightly coloured jumper and boil it, then use the boiled wool to make the bag, but I haven't yet found, in any of the cheap and cheerful or charity shops, any brightly coloured jumper I am prepared to boil wash!
