Pre-Teen Boy Bedding
Last week, my son and I finally tackled some of the decorating issues in his room. He's 11, nearly 12, and he has bunk beds that for nearly two years have been covered with denim comforters. They are durable and not too dorky, and that's exactly what you need when you have a pre-teen son. But he said he gets a little hot at night, because the comforters are just too heavy. (But he is a bit chilly just under a blanket, because Daddy keeps the house coooooooold at night.) So we hit Target and started hunting.
He wasn't sure what he wanted, then we saw the Mass Transit Bedding Collection, and he was hooked. We picked up:
- the Zizag quilty in black (one for each bed)
- the Skyline Decorative Pillow,
- and a matching sheet set that I don't see online, but looks like the Skyline Pillow.
The items look great with the red mirror and black gaming chairs he already has. Okay, it's not exactly my taste. But I must admit, the new bedding added a pretty cool, edgy feel to his room. And when you're an 11-year-old boy, what more could you really want?
