Summer Entertaining
It's summer, and you might be thinking about throwing some parties in the near future. I prefer small gatherings, but once in a while--like last July 4th--I go all out and throw a big bash and invite everyone I know.
So with summer parties in mind, I went searching for some ideas on the Web, and came up with a few great links for you to check out:
- HGTV has tons of ideas on the Everyday Entertaining page. I like the Flea Market Party Decor ideas, and these Beach Party tips.
- Food Network features some great Party Ideas, and the Fourth of July and Picnic ideas are my favorites.
- If you want to go all out, Marthastewart.com offers up instructions for Creating Canopies to shield your guests from the summer sun.
- Oprah offers a surprisingly extensive Party Planning area on her site.
By the way--I am FINALLY well again! Thanks for the good wishes during my recent bout with a mysterious stomach virus.

These are some great sites. I found a lot of great ideas on Oprah's sites. We're getting ready to plan a few massive parties in our home and have a lot of planning ahead of us :)
