Tip of the Week--Baking Soda Rocks!
What's the greatest, most versatile household item in the world? Baking soda of course! It's cheap and it can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
- cleaning porcelain sinks
- deodorizing carpeting
- boosting laundry detergents
- mixing with lemon juice to create a powerful cleaning solution
- sucking up stinky refrigerator smells
- cleaning teeth (instead of toothpaste), and
- as a gentle facial scrub.

Sprinkle it on your metal burner cups (put them in your sink first) then scrub with a wet sponge and you'll have the baked on mess off in no time. Great trick from my grandmother.

Oh yeah! I love baking soda! For years I've mixed it with a little of my facial cleanser and used on my face as a scrub. It works better than any store-made product and it's so cheap!
